Tourism in Perth. Towns and stuff near Perth (In no particular order)

Mandurah.
Beautiful marina, packed with little shops and perfect restaurants to have a cake and tea (5.90 dollars in winter) and enjoy the sunshine while looking at the expensive boats. The streets and parks look like they were finished yesterday and it is so cute you want to spend the whole day wandering around.
Very small though, and I am pretty sure it will be packed in summer.

Freemantle.
Small town with a lot of beaches, the main street is always lively and the town hall is very nice even though is completely fake. Just wandering around is worth it, together with a visit to the markets.

York.
This town consists in one street that could have been taken from the Far West part of Port Aventura, cute, but do not know if worth the two hours drive.

Cotlestoe Beach.
In Perth, with awesome expensive looking houses in one side, kilometers of beach at the other, and fancy restaurants and cafes in between. Good place to walk in winter. I have yet to try it in summer.

New Norcia
Again one hour and a half away from Perth, this town consists in 3 builndings done by the spanish Benedictin monks when they came to Australia. Interesting from a historical point of view, but not espectacular.

Caversham.
My life is complete, I have feed a kangaroo. And made zillions of pictures of it. This is something everyone must do if they come to WA. It might be a huge big piece of nothing, but they have some ideas.
I have no idea of the price or how to get there as I was taken from the uni. Sadly the orientation week is over and I am not going to have more easy trips.
