It is not that often that I have not much to tell about... anything, really.
Life relentless goes by as I see all the logos in the logoquiz game and.. INMEDIATELY FORGET ABOUT THEM. How is it even possible that I have been here for almost two months and it was only yesterday that I realized I was missing the PONTIAC LOGO. Seriously. Pontiac. I feel so ashamed of myself right now. It's K.I.T.T. we are talking about. And I totally missed it.
In other news. I now know what is all this "pumpkin everything season" is. It truly lives to its name: Pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin tea, pumpkin pie, pumpkin fucking chocolate, pumpkin croutons (what the fuck), pumpkin cereal... I am loving every second of it.

Here we are again, Blog switched to English and trip tips ahead, as usual.
This time, why dont we start at the coast?, after all, L.A. is very well known for never ending beaches and surf.
Santa Monica
Big Blue Buses number 1 and 8 will take you to the coast and leave you in the very nice Main street. Walk around to see shops, Farmer's market and take Ocean road to get to the seaside.
After you walk Main street northwestwards, you will find yourself in Tongva park, which is beautiful but a bit small. If you go back to Main and continue you will bump into Santa Monica Place, a desing shopping mall that ends up in 3rd street, yet another shopping street with dinosaurs as decorations. There is also a Theme park and the end of Route 66 in the pier (which is 50 meters away from Santa Monica Place), but the surroundings are a bit sketchy and I don't really recommend that.

Venice
Again, know what Venice is full of?. Yes, shops and restaurants. The houses are cute, but... shopping mall all the same. Actually, main attractions in the city are shopping places, I guess that is the case in the rest of USA too

Yes, yes, I know I have completely abandoned the blog. I should have started posting somewhat earlier, but last month has been pretty busy (well that is an underestimation).
First of all, I want to stress as much as possible the NECCESSITY of renting an apartment from a reliable source (NOT Craiglist) as soon as possible before arriving the country. Then, you can start looking for accomodation. And it is going to take you a while.
Looks like Los Angeles is some sort of phenomenon in where the demand for housing is several times bigger than the offer, University Housing cannot cope with all the incoming students (yes, very well organized) and everything is booked for months in advance.

Exciting, isn't it.

Well, after looking for two weeks, I finally found a place, but in fact, my problems were still far from gone. Taxpayer registration, Buying furniture for the room (no, they never come furnished, why XD), getting a bike, obtaining a Social Seurity number, register at the consulate....
And...
A driver's license.
(To be continued with the horrible expierence I will, for sure, have when getting the license)
